It’s the final week. And Kayla was in London. And I met her. That was perfect timing and I’m so glad that I did. She was pretty inspirational in person. I went along to a great event hosted by Women’s Health UK where Kayla was speaking (she is also starring in an upcoming issue… so stay tuned on that!). I’ll be writing up that event very soon, but in the meantime, let’s talk week 12.

Week 12 was great actually. I was in a good place. I spent some time on me and worked out a lot in the beginning of the week. I signed up for a juice cleanse (more on that to come too!) and I got a lot of client work done too. I also went to #Sweatwork, my second spin class of the week and met Kayla. I didn’t manage the 3rd workout mainly because the juice cleanse wiped out my energy but I woke feeling amazing on Sunday & fit workout 2 in. Sadly workout 3 never happened because I fell over in the garden one day and managed to cut my foot which led to a sprained ankle. So I missed that final workout. But the last one was super intense and I felt amazing, so I’m happy to call that completing Week 12.

And we’re done! I am so happy to have completed it. I learnt a lot about fitting in workouts and banishing excuses. I also had to remind myself that it’s 70% diet & 30% workout to get Kayla’s abs. However, despite not having a rock hard six pack, I am a lot fitter and stronger. I may not be great at pushups but I am a lot better than I was! And I can’t wait to get better at all of it. Bring on fitness for life.
