Something happened at the end of Week 6 that I didn’t quite mention in my round up. I very sadly lost my grandfather on the Sunday and I think the reason that I ran that 15km was probably because I really needed to clear my head. The next few days was pretty much about staying on top on my freelance business, staying on top of other work commitments, such as my trip to Brussels and attending Be:Fit London. Then I also had to prep for my impending half marathon so it seemed like a good idea to spread week 7 over two weeks and to just get the funeral and work and running out of the way. So that’s exactly what I did.

Essentially, I’m glad I made the decision to focus on my own needs and on my half marathon. Happy to get back into it on Monday. (P.S. We went to a wedding straight after the half marathon and I survived that too!)
