It’s taken me a while to write this. Straight after I completed Week 4 of Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide, I got on the scales and got my healthy selfies on last week. I’ve fit in all of the workouts, I’ve done extra cardio and I’ve been super positive. And what do I get? Nothing. My weight hadn’t changed at all. Boo. 0.0lb change.

How did that make me feel? Not great. Then I realised that I hadn’t actually been that good with my diet. Even when eating well, I probably ate too much in terms of portion size. I went on holiday and ate and did what I wanted. I felt really disappointed in myself. BUT, I was proud to fit all of the exercise in and I can’t go back and fix what’s done. AND I don’t want to start again from Week 1 because I do feel I have made some progress (with any luck some of this is lost fat and gained muscle…). So after a day or so of moping, I decided to pick myself back up and attack the world again.
