A couple of weeks ago, the boyfriend and I decided to head down to West Hampstead’s latest foodie hotspot, One Sixty. It has been a welcome addition to West End Lane and a great place for an after-work drink with some pretty awesome ribs and mac and cheese. However, I had heard rumours that the brunch menu was something not to miss, so one Sunday morning, we headed over to check it out. And it was pretty good. In fact, I’ve been
twice a few times since and it was equally as good.
Here’s the lowdown…
The food is such a work of art, and the menu is full of healthy (& not so healthy!) choices. I love all of the extras on the plate (radishes, capers etc) and the presentation is just so bang on, that sometimes I don’t want to start eating! But then I do, and it’s so worth it. I usually can’t help but order a bloody mary when I go. I mean, it wouldn’t be brunch without one, right? The One Sixty Bloody Mary is spicy and delicious. The coffee’s pretty good too.
I love OneSixty. It has a really cool, modern vibe, but with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. I love the cool sayings and doodles on the walls. They make me want to tweet them! (Good work from their marketing team, I have to say!)
If you’re looking for a great place for a casual brunch in West Hampstead, then I can only recommend One Sixty. There are a few different options in the area, but this is by far one of the best in terms of atmosphere, service and taste.
