I’m in Lincoln today exploring with my friend Kasia from Poland. She’s here to visit for a few days and today we are exploring all of the historical sites around here such as Steep Hill, Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. We’ve had tea and scones in Grayz tea rooms and tried some lovely Lincolnshire Fudge- strawberry and almond flavour! Yum!

It’s been snowing!
You may have gathered from either being in the UK yourself or from Twitter last week that Britain got a bit of snow last weekend. We do not know what to do with snow. I haven’t been out of the house in days!
My wellies are at my boyfriend’s parents’ house and I work from home so that’s basically the long and short of it. Couple that with losing my voice for a few days and you realise why I really didn’t bother. However, now I have quite a few things to do and the snow on the ground doesn’t seem to have budged. It’s melting slowly, but too slowly for my liking. I’m going to have to brave the ice to head to town to get my hair done and sort a few things out before my friend flies in tonight and I’m not really up for it. Having said that, if I don’t get out of these four walls soon, I’m probably going to go mad!
I’ve included a few pictures here for you. They were all taken from various windows and doors of my house.
