I turned 28 yesterday.
And you know what? It was great!
After a hurried morning of supermarket dashing & guacamole-making, I settled down with about 20 friends for a simple afternoon in the sun with a barbecue and some drinks. Whilst Rob manned the grill, I kept the drinks flowing and I think everyone had a great time. When the sun come out in London, everyone gets so happy.
This morning as I sit in yet more blissful sunshine, I’m reflecting on my life over the past year. A lot has changed. Here are the highlights:
- I quit my job and went freelance. Possibly one of the best decisions of my life.
- I travelled to Haiti, France, Malawi, South Africa (twice!), Morocco, Ireland (twice!), Spain & Italy.
- I spent my grandad’s 91st birthday with him before he died. So grateful to have the lifestyle I now do to have been able to do that with my brother.
- I ran two (yes 2!) half marathons.
And what’s coming for the next year? Well, there’s a lot more travel, a move to Guernsey on the cards, more business building and more! Thanks for reading my blog thus far and please join me on the next year of my life.
