Aussie supermodel turned fashion designer Elle Macpherson has been named as the new presenter of Britain’s Next Top Model, taking over from Brit Lisa Snowden who is leaving to concentrate on her radio career. Elle has stepped in after Naomi Campbell dropped out at the last minute, and despite not being British, I think it’s a pretty good choice! She has settled here, so it’s not such a strange decision. I just hope that her presenting skills are better than her acting (remember “hot dancer” Janine in FRIENDS?!)
