I haven’t done a Style Icon piece in a while and, as I explain every time, to me a style icon is simply somebody who has great style: fashion-wise and in life. And someone who has just that is Khloe Kardashian Odom, Kim and Kourtney’s younger sister.

I have a new favourite reality TV obsession: Keeping up with the Kardashians (Well, we all knew The Hills were over when LC left!). We don’t really hear much about the Kardashians in the UK, I’ve discovered them more through US blogs, TV shows and websites. And we do have E! so we’re not too far behind! I’ve watched quite a lot of episodes this month and what I’ve found is that I identify quite a lot with Khloe for one main reason. She’s 5′ 10″ and surrounded by gorgeous little 5’3″ people. So am I. At school and uni my friends were always MUCH shorter than me and I didn’t really notice that I was bigger until I put a pair of heels and took a photo! But the reason that Khloe has style is that she does what I am learning to. She forgets the differences between her and others and looks after herself. She always looks great, always works hard and almost always wears heels!
